Avoid areas with fresh wind slabs. The wind is picking up and snow on the ground will be eroded and deposited in wind sheltered slopes.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Det har blitt observert påbegynnende kantkorn dannelse under fokksnø, men det regnes ikke som aktivt skredproblem per dags dato.

3 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Strong breeze from northwest, changing to breeze from the northwest during renoon. -11 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snøbygene fortsette i dag og vinden øker i styrke. Det vil dannes fokksnøflak som er lette å løse ut mens været står på, spesielt i konvekse leformasjoner som innganger til renner. Flakene vil stort sett bli små men middels store skred er mulig der hvor pålagringen er størst.

Varslet faregrad gjelder for de deler av regionen som får mest nedbør, der hvor det kommer mindre vil skredfare fortsatt være lav.

Dersom solen tar i bratte sørvendt sider utover dagen, kan det gå enkelte små våte løssnøskred.
